Active in Our Community
I am proud to be deeply involved in our community, both through my work on the city council and by supporting local organizations and residents in many other ways. Staying connected and engaged is important to me because it ensures I am always listening to your concerns and working to make Daphne an even better place to call home.
Here are some of the ways I stay actively involved:
Chair of the Public Safety Committee: Focusing on the needs of our police and fire departments to keep our city safe.
Council Liaison to the Recreation Board: Helping guide investments in our parks and community spaces.
Council Liaison to the Daphne Public School Commission: Supporting local education by allocating millage funding to schools in Daphne’s feeder pattern.
Member of the Finance Committee: Reviewing budgets to ensure taxpayer dollars are spent wisely.
Member of the Buildings and Properties Committee: Overseeing the care and use of our city facilities.
Member of the Ordinance Committee: Working to update and maintain city laws that reflect the needs of our residents.
Member of the Public Works Committee: Addressing infrastructure and maintenance projects that keep Daphne running smoothly.
Outside of city government, I have also served on the Guest Services Team at City Hope Church for more than 20 years, welcoming and supporting people throughout our community.
Through these roles, I am able to stay closely connected, listen to what matters most to you, and work every day to strengthen the community we all love.
